Apologies, my sarcastic comment was unnecessary. I hope you'll forgive me.

Thank you, Auralia! Lovely autologin tool!

Do you have any crypto addresses so that I can donate?

Is there a way to set the auto-login on a schedule? Say, auto-login once per day or something like that?

For reference, this app no longer works properly for me on my Opera browser, but cooperates just fine on Firefox. No idea why, it just doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Someone who knows the script rules better than me would be able to answer this, but would a feature which sends you an email notification (optional of course) when a nation is soon to CTE, and auto-enters it into the app to be activated by a button click be against site rules? If their is interest I will consider building such a feature into a new app, if it is legal.

Given you can login to a nation without any clicks at all (logging in to a nation isn't a restricted action, but restoring after it CTEs is) looks fine. You'd obviously have to stay within the limits - and depending on whether you're logging in via the API or game, and how you check the activity the rates might be different.

Seems kinda pointless, having an autologin script run every week or so, and turning on emails from NS (and possibly dossiering all your nations so you can notice any CTEs if an email somehow goes missing) as the backup if you forget to run it/the automatic running doesn't work seems a much better solution than this.

Not really expecting a response, at least not any time soon, but I was wondering why I still see the ""There has been x bad login attempt/s since your last login"" message when I log on to some nations. An example is Birmingham, which I manually logged on to just now and was greeted to the same message-one attempt. This is despite the fact that this login script claims to have successfully logged on within the past six hours and the notices tab on NationStates showing that the last time someone tried to log on to the nation 291 days ago. This has happened with at least a dozen of my nations, with some like Bharat having as many as ten bad login attempts, or so the website claims when I manually log on less than a quarter of a day since running the script.

I tested it out to see if the message always stays on a nation until the notifications tab on NationStates is open, but it doesn't seem to be the case; as soon as I logged on to Birmingham and saw the bad login attempt/s on my main page in red, I logged out and logged back in, but the message did not appear again.

I just tested restoring a nation and then logging into it using the app, and I can't reproduce the problems you're seeing (in Firefox, anyways).

Oh okay. Thank you Auralia, much appreciated.

If it matters, I used Opera on Windows 10 and checked the box for logins only.

Somewhat belated thanks for making this Auralia, works like a charm

Once I realized running it in a browser that I'm logged into NS on doesn't work for presumably obvious reasons

I know this is really late, but are you still having an issue with it? Try a different browser or clear your cache and cookies.

Yeah, it is, but I also have relevant information to add.

I use this script in Firefox. Recently, I was prompted by Mozilla to do a major update. In that process, the script lost track of my configuration and all my puppets. I still had the spreadsheet with all my puppets and passwords and was able to replace the lost content. I don't know if there is a better way to reload the lost content, because I've long since forgotten where I saved it (if anywhere).

Came across this issue. The hosted version no longer works for me. It worked when I downloaded the files from GitHub and ran it from my PC though.

Yeah, I lose the saved configuration from time to time. I think the app must be using a cookie to store the config in-session.

Hi, I've been having an issue with the program that prevents it from logging into my nations - when I run the script, it does this:
Code: Select all
info: Auto mode
info: New Westmore: Nation exists
info: New Westmore: Logging in...
error: New Westmore: Login failed
error: More than 30 seconds between now and last login

What is happening and how do I fix this?

If this classifies as gravedigging, I'm sorry but I need help from anyone who knows how to fix this issue.
