Why is my Scientific Advancement in the negatives?

I just noticed, my SA is stupidly low, and according to the trend it started at -75? How did this happen?

What likely happened is that you made several decisions that subtly lowered it. As for the negatives, I guess that means you're going backwards scientifically?
It's been over two years that Perland has been on Nation States!

No, you see, the issue here is that my nation STARTED with -75 SA!
