Regional Founding Date?

I imagine if this existed you would have put this in already... but I'm wondering whether the system stores the date a region was created on--similar to how it stores the date a nation is created on?

If it does could this be added to the regional history thingamajig?

I'm guessing it doesn't store the date... but just checking.

I'm not sure about any internal settings but there is nothing on the XML feed or in regions themselves.

So if it is stored internally it should just be a matter of adding to the regional XML feed and done... however if there isn't not only are they going to have to create the field, and have it set when a new region is created. I'd hate to think of the logic required for that and then they could get around to getting it into the regional XML feed... though honestly not sure if it's worth it.

I believe all regions founded after the history page was implemented shows it. All those before do not.

That's pretty much right; we only started tracking that data recently, around the time the History page was introduced. If your region's History page doesn't say when it was founded, we don't know.

How would influence be calculated then? Surely the system knows the founder, and remembers the influence he or she has in their region by remembering what day they first arrived at the region. Couldn't that date be used?

EDIT: Well, it wouldn't work for regions that are pre-influence.
