Involuntary Transfer to New Region?

I just found out that about three hours ago I was transferred from North Pacific to some region called "The Rejected Realms."

My initial reaction was: WTF?!

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, why did it happen?

3 hours ago: Neu Mitanni was ejected from The North Pacific by Durkadurkiranistan.

It has happened to over a thousand (possibly more like two thousand) nations. The former delegate of The North Pacific ejected all those nations, before getting deleted for his new regional flag. Suicide by mod.

You are free to move back into The North Pacific; you weren't banned.

You weren't "transfered" you were ejected from the region by the Founder or Delegate. All ejected nations go to The Rejected Realms.

For your own peace of mind, you were among 2000 nations ejected from TNP and sent to TRR due to your former Delegate, the trigger happy Durkadurkmenstan (sp?). He has since CTE'd due to suicide-by-mod.

Mostly true, but he didn't CTE, I deleted him.

Technically he didn't do anything illegal until he replaced his flag, but as a suicide-by-mod attempt it was fairly amusing and more than a little underwhelming. I was rather anticipating something more... grandiose.

Oh. For us, CTE generally refers to when a nation dies of "natural causes."

I think I remember reading somewhere that DEAT came from some guy raving about death and deletion, and I guess he couldn't spell.
