Another Rejection Free Region in Nationstates?

Postby The Rejected Realm Nation » Fri Aug 19, 2016 3:59 pm

I wanted to make my region another rejection free region in Nationstates. Could it be possible that the mods, if they approve, could make it so that rejected nations randomly get sent to either this one or the current one, The Rejected Realms? What do you guys think?

Why do we need two ejection regions?

"The Rejected Realms contains 2,802 nations, the 10th most in the world."

The current TRR is doing rather well and probably does not need another region for rejection-free spillage.

Chance of the mods making your region a GCR: zero.

I don't think admins would probably consider this anyway, but just because usually they like to hear pros and cons, the obvious con here is that the community established in The Rejected Realms would have a tougher time with security. The number of endorsements their Delegate has would likely be significantly reduced if the pool of ejected nations are split between TRR and another ejection-free region, and unlike in every other region, ejections for security aren't an option.

This would be a problem for the new ejection-free region as well, though being new, it wouldn't have an established community. There would be great potential for both regions to become warzone-like regions. That could be perceived as a pro for some, but not for the TRR community, obviously.

There is no harm in doing as you have done and pledging never to eject from your own UCR. An interesting experiment.

I kind of like the idea of having another region ejected nations go to. That said, there are a few flaws with this. Currently TRR isn't overfilled with nations, which is how we got Osiris and Balder when Lazarus was enormous. Second, you said 'my region', game created regions don't have founders officially, and the name of your region isn't truly amazing. Thirdly, this kind of seems like a way for your region to get free recruitment, or a solution in search of a problem rather than a solution to an existing one.

Also, I kind of hoped that if there even comes a time where the Rejected Realms needs a second catcher, it would be a region only accessible from the Rejected Realms ejecting you there (and possibly being allowed to move back once ejected if you decided to leave the region, but I'm against that).
As always, I'm representing myself.

Democratia, for an existing example.

If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.
