To be honest, I would prefer the wireframe globe idea. The UN has no rights over the shape. Of course, we shouldn't put any continents on it; maybe use this shape.

That's the generic wire-frame globe shape. It can't be copyrighted. The World Bank logo is concave, anyways, not convex (like the image I linked). Interested in seeing what you come up with...

I can see where kenny's coming from; I think there needs to be a sort of line on the right wing so it can be discerned from the rear doves head (if that makes sense)

Alternatively, is there a forward facing dove doodad that can be used (sort of like the US Eagle on the Seal of the President, but a dove...)

If it could be made to work, I would suggest giving the books thing one more try by making it a little smaller (so as not to obstruct the WA symbol) and placing it on the new background. If it can't work, I can live with the scales. Sorry Cob, but I really don't get the dueling pigeons thing.

The SC emblem should at the very least be crossed swords. The single sword just sitting there looks sort of odd.

Also, props on the hilarious News item -- although its description of inter-Council discord is a bit tame for an organization that regularly sees diplomats tossing each other out of windows or converting Council chambers into lakes.
