Hey, now the SC won't be wasting the GA's time.

Is a News Item regarding this change forthcoming?

I'd heard that this was happening, hopefully, eventually, and after being away for a few days, I was surprised to check the WA (and the status of the proposal at vote) and to see the new setup. Totally not complaining at all - it makes me quite happy to have the 2 Councils separated. Hopefully, the queues won't be *quite* as log-jammed now, and hopefully we will always have 2 proposals up for a simultaneous vote. And having the "end dates" of the vote staggered was probably not intentional, but I think that'll work out best in the end.

Many thanks for your hard work, tech admins!

Yeah I'm still a little sore about that, 'cause the scales make no sense.. the General Assembly doesn't have an international court (they voted it down).

I guess I'll have to alter the Security Council forum's logo now.. grrr...

HAPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :

YAY!

It looks awesome, violet. Love it. I can't wait to get a SC resolution up to vote to fill this page!

yes, yes, congratulations... now I assume with this thing done, [violet] and other admins will have the time to actually implement some changes that were proposed way way back, that had also a great support from players, and that would benefit all players (and not benefit some but do harm to others)

Like for example this one viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4498

Fantastic; great to see this done at last.

Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but I really have to agree here. The books made a lot more sense (and if you read Res. #1, had a lot more meaning), if they could be made to work.

If the sword thing is final, would crossed swords work better, or would that be a little too "Gatevillian" for some? ;)

Again, not to sound ungrateful or anything, because the split floor looks amazing ...

I find the swords kind of odd as well, we don't have an army. I kind of think that would be awesome if we did, and the SC regulated it, but we don't. Our duty, "Spreading interregional peace and goodwill, via force if necessary", implies compliance as the force that is necessary, not war.

I think I would be the perfect choice to be given complete command over a Security Council army, nothing could possibly go wrong.
