Question about posting NationStates material on other web si

I have a question about this and I wasn't sure what was the best board to post this in so I posted it here. What are the rules about posting information about my nation on the usage of the NationStates logo on other web sites such as a blog or a social networking profile page? I would like to show my nation off to my friends and perhaps get them interested in the game as a result but I don't want to infringe upon any copyright laws or get banned b/c I had broken a rule.

My guess would that it would be fine (and good) to spread the word with your own nation's stuff, but you should be much more cautious about posting things about other nations, the name nationstates etc would be fine to reference, so long as you are not profiting directly from it. Look at journalists, they use the names or websites etc all the time, but they wouldn't detail individuals information.
