Vote reset during Round 2

As noted here, the Round 2 totals reset at some point. Quite a few of us noticed this.

I realise that I'm pointing to a thread on exactly the same thing, but it got buried in the Election HQ, and it was possible an Admin would've never noticed it there. Given this is potentially time-sensitive etc

I also noticed it. Voting all over again was a big pain. Someone's been tampering with the machines.. I call voter fraud. :p

Because there is a bug.

It happens at least now when the clock reaches the new hour.

And it has been doing so ever since we got into round 2.

We're checking it out.

Yeah.... I spent 25 minutes stuff the box, only for all those ballots to get burned in some horrible fire.

I'm sorry this happened. Twice.

It took a while for the first event to be brought to my attention. The next round had started and we thought all was well. Turns out the server had a nasty surprise for us just an hour later. Then before we managed to resolve the issue, it happened a second time.

The reset has been disabled entirely while further research is underway to properly fix this. This also means voting can proceed as normal. If need be we'll manually push the server through the election process.

Will this be fixed or does everyone need to revote?

Edit: that is, will votes cast before the resets be re-added automatically?

If not, just make sure to rush in votes nearer to the end.
