Hmm? The time you receive issues isn't related to the minor update at all.

The major update does things like update your population and ending voting on WA resolutions, but I wasn't aware of the minor update having done much that isn't issue-related. Oh, maybe delegates are still reelected twice per day?

Well, I noticed that I was usually sync'd up with the regional happenings (cte's, etc.), and now I'm an hour off.

Depending where you live, update time may shift by another hour in the near future.

You could try to manually realign when you receive a new issue with when your region updates. You would have to get 5 issues, and then wait until some multiple of 6 hours from when your region updates (eg if it updates at 0:00. Wait until 6:00, 12:00, 18:00, 0:00). Once that time arrives, answer any issue. Your issues will arrive every 6 hours (provided you have space for a new one), coinciding roughly with when your region updates.*

*pretty sure issues come every 6 hours, otherwise this won't work permanently.

They do by default, but you can choose 12, 24, and 48 as well.

Yes WA delegates are elected, and WA votes can begin and end at minor. Also, embassy changes, regions/nations ceasing to exist... All the things that used to happen minus issues.

Well, what [v] said without saying up there is that there was a change to the way the game works about 2 weeks ago. This now means that your issues are processed instantly, and new issues arrive at an interval after that. It could be that you answer your issues at the same time each day, and where it used to process 5 hours later, and a new issue arrived to replace it--at the minor update-- it's now processing immediately and a new one arrives 6 hours later, instead. Just a hunch, though.

Unless you've been answering issues every six hours on the hour since the site was updated, this is unlikely. However, supposing you are, 6 hours after midnight Eastern Standard Time last Sunday was 7 AM Eastern Daylight time, since we skipped an hour. Everything is working fine.
