The forumside mod tools don't talk to the game at all, so we should be fine. Though I don't really expect we'll need to do much modding, especially once people's sessions start dropping out. Fewer people, fewer messes.

I now feel like that we're playing lazer-tag.

holy crap. The downtime came about just as I posted something into an Rp. Once it posted, I was logged out and thought I lost what I wrote. So happy that the server is online so I was able to check that the post went through.

That's not how I read it. I wasn't online when this all started, but I was able to log in by typing in my name and password forum-side. So there is no point to keeping your session going.

This explains why my API wrapper suddenly stopped working. If I may make suggestions here, could there be a standard response for when the API is purposely down? My API wrapper knew something was up but since nationstates responded with a html page the parser that gives info on errors broke. This raises an error that would stop most scripts.

The guy who was only able to access the forums in the middle of the night because of the glitchy servers.

That was all of us... pre-Jolt. The forums were fast until about 5 am UTC - then thy went down like... Windows ME on a machine with 8 MB of RAM.
