So something just happened to NS and I wasn't on my nation for a few minutes. Am I correct in assuming this is just what happened yesterday?

I'm showing a Database Connection Error in my sidebar. The link attempts to take me to my region page, but it doesn't load.

I got that too on my sidebar as well when I tried to access my nations Factbook on my nations page. Do you know what's up? And what is the glitch your talking about?

Happened to me once, but not for long; next day it recovered.

The issue appears to have been resolved.

Anti: Expensive restaurants, secret cabals, socialism/communism/leftism, prohibition (of anything), representative democracy (at least semirigged, two-party ones), political correctness, carbon fuels, regulation, leslie knope, substantive equality, legislated equality, minimum wage, marginal taxes, gendered laws, anarcho-x.


Loosely follows NS stats.

I had it for a few minutes (not the sidebar, why on earth would I use the sidebar :p), but it seems to have corrected itself.

Are you both still having issues using gameside?

Regional message boards were also not showing with a similar error message, and the server was generally slow to respond.

Whatever it was seems to be over now, though. Even the update is back on track.

Had it pop up for me in a different manner a few minutes ago. Tried to log in, but got a critical error message and a pic of Virtual Reppy running away from a flaming monolith. No, seriously. Went away though.

Not anymore after a few seconds it corrected itself plus it was on A militaries Arsenal one of my puppet nations and not Gig em Aggies which is my main nation.

Basically, what's happening is the SQL server is either:
A) Overloading
B) Crashing
C) Having some other error


Not much you can do besides refresh and see if the issue resolves itself.
