Forgot my nation, does it still exist?

I recently got back into NationStates, but I started a new nation instead of updating the old one. Although it might have long vanished, I can't check because I forgot its exact name! I am very curious as to how it is over there.

Is there any way of restoring my old nation with only my email adress?

Submit a Getting Help Request with as much detail as possible.

You could try reviving it. If it is successful, it'll reappear in Lazarus. You'll have to move it to wherever you want it to go after that.

Without a name your pretty much up a creek without a paddle. Mods/admin only keep track of nations by their name, and you need the name to log in AND recover a password.

The only advice I have is that if you remember ANYONE from where your old nation was ask them if they remember the name. I've had a couple puppets that I forgot the name to (usually I'm off by a letter) and I tg someone in the region and ask them what it's name was. It usually works but I always feel like the other person must think I'm stoned out of my mind not to remember my old name.

Did it ever join the WA? If so and you did not delete the invitation E-mail, you may be able to recover it. My tip for future reference would be to allow auto complete to run and having the name save in the form data.
