I've been reading dispatches lately, so, another question: does your population stay dead if you choose the exterminate option?

Your population will stay dead for the duration of the event. After that it will be erased, like it never happened.

If memory serves, it started on the 30th (US time, anyhow) last year, which is the 31st in parts of the world near the dateline (i.e. Japan, Australia, etc.). There was also a countdown clock a day or two beforehand, but I have no more clues than you all do as to what the techies have planned for us this year. *feels the anticipation build*

Quick question, and forgive me if this has already been asked, but after your Survivor numbers drop to 0, and your government response shuts down, new live people spring up after update (and government response can resume), right? Will this be happening at every major/minor update (i.e., all three), or just at the major, when your population increases?


EDIT: or would Zombie Emergency Command Center be a better place to ask this?

Any CTE'd nation that is revived during the Z-apocalypse should come back as 100% Zombie.

Hmmm, this would change the game majorly for Osiris, Balder and Lazarus, seeing that they're the ones dealing with it first.

After the game everything is reset and it is as if nothing happened.

Are we going to have another zombie invasion like last year? It was so fun, but I can't find any information to confirm or to deny the possibility of another assault. If anyone knows anything about it, please respond.

Yeah, and for TRR, which would expect to see ejections if any of these Sinkers decides to expel the Z-folk.
But then, they have always been playing a bit different than the rest.

Yup, TRR would see no new dynamic, just more than during the normal Z-event.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against btw, I quite like the idea, I'm just not sure what the effect and impact would be.

I would only expect it to happen at the Major update.
