You'd need to find the "save page" function on your browser. On Windows, Ctrl+S should work, or you could look in the File menu at the top. That will give you an SVG file. Then you need an image program that can save SVG files as PNG or JPG, or else some service that can do a direct conversion. CloudConvert is a good online service if you need one.

I'm in a classroom region and every other nation is dead including the leader. I want out but I can't do that since classroom nations can't leave for some reason. How long until the region gets deleted if that can happen?

I would file a getting help request, I would expect a game mod could help you. If not, you could create a new nation?

The region will never be deleted as long as it isn't empty. Since you're still active, it won't die. But if you file a GHR as Leutria said, you might get some help.

Probably either the ejection or the removal of Class status. Moderator actions are properly stored in Moderation logs, but they don't always have complete Regional Activity logs. In some cases, such as deleting offensive nation names, we do so 'silently' by design. In other cases like this one, it's an uncommon activity that probably got missed on RA logging.

Hello, sorry to bother everyone,

In my current region (The Galactic Federacy) we currently have an ongoing issue. Our founder is on the verge of a CTE, and we have no real back-up in place. Our current plans are to allow the region to dissolve, then try and re-found the region with a proper puppet founder. However, we wish to copy the logs of our current region's RMB so that they may be saved for posterity. Unfortunately, all methods beyond a literal copy/paste storm (given we have 12k pages to copy, no mean feat) involve methods beyond our ability, such as setting up a Web Server to copy the text VIA bot, or other plugins that may violate the NS API (if I understand available literature). Is there any possibility of obtaining a copy of all of our regions RMB logs directly from NS so that they may be saved?

I don't think so. We don't have any kind of RMB export function either.

Probably the only way to do that would be via a scraping script. You would need to abide by the Script Rules as well as the API rules and rate limits. We can't advise you on script design beyond pointing to the rules.

I seem to remember [v] talking about how she had an experimental RMB exporter working, and that she had used it to save the RMB of Westphalia (was that the region?) back when it was raided and in danger of being destroyed. But I haven't heard anything since.

Well I found this viewtopic.php?f=15&t=303608&p=20844703&hilit=DownThemAll#p20844703 and I've managed to follow it and am currently doing the first download. It's slow going, but I'm getting there. I'm just worried that the NS Rules/API Limits have changed since then, since I don't really know how to change the parameters for it.

I'm not seeing that as something that should necessarily be available to players and/or mods. Besides, who is ever going to read twelve thousand pages of RMB content? I can see liking the idea of an archive, I'm just not seeing anyone ever using one.

I don't really know how to change the parameters for it.

It's really not a good idea to use scripts you don't understand. We recently had one guy sending 64,000 recruiting telegrams to the same nation. Find someone technical to help you before you get too involved.

Found it. Not exactly an exporter, but definitely a preserver. Doesn't sound like it was intended to be a one-off thing, but then again she was pretty vague. As for why this should exist, some regions have a lot of history on their RMB and simply want to preserve it.

We tend to avoid yes or no answers on questions like this. A nation named "Lynchburg" with a Confederate flag and "slaves" as its national animal would almost certainly be deleted for trolling. "New Georgia" and its currency of "peaches" probably would be fine. It's a case by case judgement, like most Mod rulings.

One would think so, wouldn't they? It is his game, and he does have his name attached to it. If I were Max, I'd have several nations I could play without revealing my identity. For all you know, he might be roleplaying with you, or trolling you in General.

If they became known, he'd get inundated with telegrams and pointless questions all the time. For that reason, his nation(s) will remain anonymous.

I hope this falls under technical, so...

I would just like to know why there is a 25 Factbook limit, but a seemingly no-limit for dispatches? I said seemingly because there doesn't seem to be any limit so far and I'm not going to test it out with spammy dispatches to test that it's unlimited.
