Are we talking about offsite stats calculators? If so, you'd need to ask the curators of each site.

Have an interesting problem. I've created a region as a nonexecutive founder. But this means the founder has no right to appoint any members to positions. And there are no other positions filled. How can I solve this problem and appoint a WA delegate if the founder has no right to appoint any officers?

Please advise as I'd like to sort the problem out and grow the region.

You don't appoint a WA delegate. They must be elected by WA nations in your region by using the endorsement system. Please read the WA section of the FAQ for more info.
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

1: OOC is roleplay terminology, and means out-of-character, i.e. roleplay discussion that does not affect the roleplay itself. AN is found in Forum 7, and means Above Nation.

2: What exactly do you mean by this? Any lists or something like that?

Did something change with the way nations are displayed on the RMB? It looks nice.

We're getting lots of little improvements which don't deserve their own threads, but thanks for changing stuff. Losing the boneyard symbol in return for clickable founder link wasn't a good deal, but RMB/History/flag page changes were pretty awesome.

I forgot my main nation name? How do I recover it?

Postby Hievyia » Mon Aug 21, 2017 12:35 am

I originally wanted to use my main nation to post here but I created my main nation a long time ago. Is there any way to find out the name.

Well you could look up your posts that you made using keywords but then you would need your password for that nation. Which NS won't have available otherwise your nation would have CTE'd and and became fair game for someone else to claim the name

This is the case sometimes, but only if that nation's not purchased supporter status or it CTEd before reaching 500 million citizens (it also becomes available for use after five years of CTE). If either of these two values are true, then your nation name will have been reserved just for you forever. And besides, if you know your nation name and your email address (which had to be tied to that nation), you can easily reset your password for that nation on-site, log back onto it, set a new password, and you're good to go!

One factbook at a time: Click on "EDIT" for that factbook, then "DELETE", then verify if you really want to delete them.

Once you've created a nation with a given name, that's final - you can't go back and change it, but (provided somebody hasn't already used it for more than about three months, or it's not currently in use) you can always create a new nation with your desired name.

But is there a way for a mod or Admin to change it? I've seen someone who has their name changed.

There have only been two cases of names being changed - both nations who existed before the current Terms & Conditions. Their names violated the new T&C but it would have been unfair to punish them, so the Admins manually changed them.

The biggest reason for not allowing name changes is that NS was built on a very poor foundation, where for a lot of things, the unique identifier is the nation name. Thus, there are lots of places that nation names get mentioned in the code. An admin would have to go and try to change every single instance of it, and it will inevitably lead things getting broken in strange ways.

Create (or edit the OP of) your thread. Scroll to the bottom, click the Poll Options tab, then fill in the fields from there?
Solomons Land wrote:How do you change your forum's name.

Please elaborate. If you meant "nation's", then no, nation names can never be changed, but you can always create the nation with your desired name (so as long as it isn't already in use, wasn't used by a nation with a population over 500 million, wasn't deleted by the mods... and please ensure that only Latin letters, hyphens, spaces and numbers can be used. You will be disappointed if you try and create a new nation called Solomon's Land.)
