It appears that - at least on Dark Rift - the background of this nation's flag has changed from #FFFFFF (the original) to #BDBDBD. All other flags also appear to have a darker lilt to them. Is this an update that N-G hasn't told us about, or have I just failed to smell the difference until now?

Actually I did it while throwing in some other unrelated hacks, since I vaguely remembered N-G mentioning it as something he wanted to do. I can reverse it if he wants.

It's not just the flags. The border around some indictators disappeared.



I'd appreciate if you reversed that and the darker flags.

Whoa, seems like quite a lot went on here while I wasn't checking the forums.

Anyway, I have some updates moving through the pipeline to fix some issues that I have seen with the N-Day² pages and the region tags, so that should be coming out shortly.

A new problem arose recently, probably a conflict with an update of the main rift theme.

Issue journals and stat icons have become unusually bright while the red alert numbers and the three freedom indicators seem half transparent. Quite tough on the eyes.

It's a bit difficult to notice the faded red number when looking at it like that, but it's definitely different from usual.

Happens on both Firefox v64 and Chrome v71.

For reference, here is how it looked before. I tried to target a few areas of the site that mixed very dark and very bright elements, such as you see here with notification numbers and the hovered newspaper. (Full saturation of the notification number isn't really apparent in the screenshot, but it's far brighter than everything else.)

I can see that the unhovered newspapers might be considered too bright now, though, and can tone those down if you prefer.

Everything mentioned above seems fixed, though banners have now become too dark. I don't think themes should affect banners, especially custom ones.

EDIT: Stat icons were fixed on the nation page, but not on the issue answering page.

I thought I noticed some changes with the dark theme, and I agree with Bede about the previous look about a couple of days ago. It looks great now though! Love the new notification vibrance too, it really pops. Thanks, Violet! <3

Interesting. I wasn't aware such a thing existed. I'll have to poke around with that a little bit to figure out just what is going on.

Dark theme isn't working for me. It just gives me the regular rift theme when I turn it on but settings claims it's still dark theme. What is wrong?
