so, most times when you find one that doesn't exist, it says page not found, right? Like if you put in q24. SO I was trying things like !1, @1, etc. Those all came up with page not found. Yeah, that's because the '?' is a special character when forming URLs.
Rather than asking for a resource called '?1.jpg' (usually an image), you're now calling http://www.nationstates.net/images/banners/ with a query string containing '1.jpg'.
