Forum usability error

Postby Hairless Kitten » Tue May 05, 2009 2:56 pm

when you hoover above the topics, the background is getting yellow. Which is nice. But it's also suggesting you can click everywhere inside the yellow rectangular, which isn't the case. You still have to click the link inside.

It's a little confusing and since we will hoover/click rather a lot above subjects, it will make navigation quicker.

Btw, this forum seems better (and faster!) as the old jolt one.

Interesting point, but while the entire "topic row" (to coin a term) highlights on hover the cursor doesn't change to 'active link' until you put it over what's properly linked. Is anyone else finding this confusing?

Isn't that what he's asking/saying?

I find the yellow highlighting helpful with my visual tracking, I had been having trouble with the color scheme and keeping up with where my cursor was, the yellow highlighting has made the forum vastly more user friendly to me.

I realize not everyone has visual tracking issues and this might be annoying to them. I think clicking the link seems like a good solution for trying to click the link though.
