Quick question...

I don't know. I'd assume it might be reset at 0.

I don't know the answer to that specifically but I'm guessing you were refounded so just check where your influence is now. If it's at "minnow," it's back at zero. If it was there anyway, does it matter?

Reset to 0, just as your endos are reset to 0

Thanks!

:P But that response left me with another question, if you say "just as your endos are reset to 0" does that mean if your nation was in the WA when it CTE, and you refound it it's stiill in the WA? I'd assume so, by that response since if it wasn't you couldn't have any endos... but I always thought it wasn't in the WA anymore.

If it is still in the WA when I refound, how am I supposed to refound it without having two in the WA?

You're not in the WA when you get back. But if you rejoin the WA you don't get your endos back either.

I've heard this is not accurate, from TAO. Could I ask for some clarification?

Vydro was recently resurrected (5 days ago) after an unknown length of time (previous last activity is 158 days ago). The nation is non-WA and has not been active since, but apparently returned to the game with an Influence of Powerbroker.

Influence is not reset. Endos I'm not sure. I think you probably keep them, if you zip back from Lazarus to your original region before the daily update. But I haven't checked the code.

Edit: Oh, maybe not, with endos, since you won't be in the WA; the first daily update upon restoration might wipe 'em.

:P Thanks.

And while I have your attention and it's along the same basic lines, I assume if a condemned nation dies and is refounded he will still have the condemned mark? Does this also apply to regions? If gatesville were to be condemned by current resoulution, and then somthing goes terribly wrong and all the nations CTE, and the region dies, if it is refounded will the code that condemned old gatesville still be intact and new gatesvill will be condemned? Sorry for the overload of questions...

Influence should be reset. Or at the very least go down as if you'd left the region for the number of days you're dead...

It's also not reset if one leaves a feeder and comes back. This was especially true when Eli ejected a few high-influenced people and left them out of the region for a while, only to let them come back with their influence seemingly unharmed.

It should degrade over a period of time.

Endorsements are not reset by CTE'ing. I've seen several refounded nations join the WA and still have the endorsements they got before CTE'ing. For an example see Oostfreesland in the region Deutschland. None of his endorsers gave him their endorsement after he rejoined the WA. The update doesn't seem to wipe them either.

A little question: if a nation became inactive before the influence system was introduced last year would they be refounded as a "minnow"?

Influence was introduced in 2006.

If the nation in question went inactive before nations began invisibly accumulating Influence (several months before the announcement), then yes, they would have to be a minnow.
