One small suggestion

I opened up some issues today, and I noticed that on the same day, I got issues in which my Minister of Education had different names.

Now, this got me thinking. What if we could name a certain number of ministers (Education, Health, Law & Order, War...), so we wouldn't have two different ministers in two consecutive issues. We would name them from a list in the settings menu, and it would also add to personalisation of your country.

Not a bad idea, I don't really have a problem with different names for same position, but I'd get a laugh out of naming my own positions...

The annoying task would be going through all old issues and fixing the coding from random name to a certain setting...

Well, if this is easy for Max/[violet] to put in, I'd like to see it. If it's hard for him/her to do, though, I'm fine with random names. But I say there's hardly any chance that It'll be added.

If you look at how issues are constructed, the names of ministers are all variable @@RANDOMNAME@@. This would then mean that not only would a game rewrite have to be included to allow you to assign names to ministers, but the issues would all have to be re-written as well.

Yes, that would be nice, shouldn't take too much work either. If they leave in the @@RANDOMNAME@@ as well as adding those, it shouldn't really effect any old issues, and if I understand the mechanics correctly, you could just copy @@RANDOMNAMES@@ structure and replace the random variables with the names you wanted (male/female). Maybe we'll see this updated.
