Firefox no longer supports unsigned extensions. Which is NS++ will not work on it.

So I have downloaded NS++ but...

1. When the NS++ settings are clicked they won't load (or loads very slowly)

2. The newspapers aren't there.

any information on why this is happening??

I can't speak for your first question but as for the second one, the newspaper feature of NS++ was deprecated nearly two years ago and is no longer supported.

No, it seems to be a common problem. The extension is unsigned, so it's no longer allowed.

Thats unfortunate, does it work on Opera or Chrome?

Works totally fine on all Chromium-based browsers, so Opera, Chrome, and even the new Chromium-based version of Edge can install it and use NS++.

There's no other way to use NS++ in Firefox?

Nope. Not since firefox began forcing Extensions to be Signed. Since then, NS++ will only work with Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

Yes these problems mentioned above are the ones I am encountering & others as well that I have spoken to. I have Chrome as my browser which to my understanding looking through this forum, it should be fine. So does anyone have any links or places to search to find a solution or remedy to this problem?

The "Regional News" bit popped up in my sidebar for the first time in a long time today. I guess an update's been made, and now Regional News is back? I've noticed a few other NS++ features that were broken seem to be back as well. Any chance that the WA stats feature will return?

As the post above me says, regional newspapers have returned, and in my region, we found some really really old articles, like stuff that goes back to the founding days of region! Now we archived that real quick so we'd never lose it, but we've ran into a snag trying to archive articles that are archived under the NS++ regional newspaper thing. So clicking on the "View Archived Articles" button, we found a lot more articles, but they only open on nationstates.net, and when we tried archiving them on archive.org, all you get is a blank page because you need the NS++ extension.

The only way we were able to archive our normal regional newspaper articles (not archived) was by opening the newspaper page on the NS++ website (which is thisand archiving that on archive.org. Is there any way to archive the archived articles, they're not on the NS++ website and archive.org doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Note: I'm not a tech person, if there's a simple solution I'm overlooking, I'm sorry if I wasted anybody's time

Redownloaded NS++ for the first time in a while and I can say not everything has been fixed. There's still an error on how I'm not authorized to change region tags despite me being a regional founder.
