The back-end problems (to do with regional newspapers, settings, and recruitment) remain untouched. Hopefully I'll have some time to get to them before December <_<

The visual glitches that have plagued me during raiding and tagging are gone now! OMG thank you! *clings to*

Not exactly thrilled about the benefits to raiders, but I can at least see all the badges now.

I can't get the newspapers to load now. Does that have something to do with the recent update?

Most raiders turn of NS++ while tagging for the minor speed boost gained by faster page loads, so the added bugs were really only affecting a lazy minority ;P

Newspapers are being deprecated. If existing newspapers can't be seen, however, that's not intended. I'll look into that at some point soon-ish.

Meanwhile, 2.6.1 has been released. 2.6.1 fixes some weird interactions with RMB post drafts and removes the NS++ update calculations to prepare for Next WA Update (and because they had gotten extremely inaccurate).

Cool, thanks! Hopefully no more accidental quotes :p

Any reason I can't remove the piss-awful map that some raiders years ago left on Greece, as well as the IRC network chat client, even though I'm Founder?

It's saying I'm not authorized, and it's frustrating having the folks who still use NS++ for some reason inquiring why the now-refounded Greece is stuck with some garish communist propaganda all over it.

The issue is one with the NS++ backend, which will be fixed, but not immediately.

The roleplay news doesn't update whenever I post anything. It's a shame, I was hoping to write about a civil war.

Another bug: When you answer an issue, and then right after switch to a nation using the pupper switcher, then if both nations have the same issue, then the nation you switched too, will also have that nations issue answered.

I can't download it on firefox. Something about it not being unverified or something?

Yep. You will need a different browser. I'm using Waterfox now, and it's almost identical to Firefox- but allows unsigned and "legacy" extensions.

This extension is presently a trainwreck. Most of it doesn't work or interferes with standard NS operations. It would be really nice to get this thing back where it needs to be rather than tinkering with gameplay!

Still waiting on Newspapers to be removed, yeah.

Not to mention maybe letting Founders of Refounded Regions change the custom delegate/founder titles previously set by raiders ages ago instead of saying we don't have permissions to do so.

Seconded. Still happy to replicate, catalog, and track bugs...

Newspapers are technically just Dispatches, are they not? I think Newspapers could be optimized for regional use, but for the time being, they're awfully outdated.

But aren’t they hosted offsite?

I mean, they have the same function. Newspapers are hosted offsite, I believe.

After setting up puppets in puppet manager I started getting bad login attempt warnings. "Someone tried to login to Ahma with an incorrect password."

Also, whole puppets menu logo tends to disappear, while logged on Ahma. It stays for a second and then disappears. And for some reason, while being logged on my puppet it works just fine.

And I'm using Chrome. I never got the Firefox version working as it requires the add-on to be signed.

I'll look into this.

It does, but when I click it, it says: No regional newspaper exists for The Honorary Allied Nation States! Contact their delegate or founder to establish one.

Same, probably a bug but I changed computers and it doesn't appear there either

I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize this but I love NS++ <3 <3 The built in auto login for my puppets makes it so much easier!!

Any possibility someone can sign this add on on for Firefox please. All the old ways to add unsigned add ons don't work anymore.
