Issues with Settings

Same problem here, not able to log into the NSWiki at all. I also figured out that the reason my ns++ settings page won't load is due to an error code of 400 when trying to access the ns++ api at https://nationstatesplusplus.net/api/nation/settings/all?name=legendary_magus (where legendary magus is the name of my nation). For some reason it seems it's not authenticating properly, and when it retrys, the requests are sending too soon so it doesn't accept subsequent requests until it's out of tries. This has been occurring with the past 2 versions of ns++. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Additionally, there's a request going to wss://nationstatesplusplus.net/api/ws/?nation=legendary_magus&userRegion=the_smyrl_conglomerate&reconnect=false which isn't completing, it's stuck with a status of 101 (Switching Protocols).

Is the Mozilla version ever going to be fixed?

I'm having a problem with recruitment TGs. They're only being sent to people who were founded when the script was first made. These are mostly nations which have since CTEd.

Is there any way to fix this problem? Am I the only one having this problem?

It's not broken...

Mozilla now requires all add-ons to be signed, but you cannot use information from offsite, which means this is hard to sign.

Therefore, unless Mozilla changes that back, it'll be hard to get this operational again.

Please share any ongoing interface problems.

It is expected that some regional flags will be broken in the embassy scroller, endorsement-related information incorrect, happenings missing from "see more" links, and similar information missing at this time. Expect to hear more about that soon (tm).

Im glad your getting things up and running again Eluvatar. I really appreciate it. I still cant find a way to make a newspaper for my region. Has it still not been fixed or has the option been moved?

You can use the developer version of firefox to solve this issue. Check this link out if your having trouble I found it helpful. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1134589

Small suggestion: it would be useful if there was a setting for showing the actual issue choice numbers. Makes it easier to spot when new options have been added, and so on; and having to check the source for those is somewhat tiresome.

(...was tiresome. I already wrote a script for my own use that shows those, and it's been quite useful.)

Hey, it won't let me make a regional newspaper or recruit using NS++ and I'm delegate?

I put in the nation I wanted to recruit with, but it wouldn't let me send at all when I clicked the button. It wouldn't say anything, it would just show the same page.

Firefol will not install the extention

This is a known issue and the NS++ Techie sees it posted at least once a page.

You can blame Mozilla for that one.

I want to cease use of Internet Explorer and download slow Chrome just to get NS++, but apparently there is a bug that prevents creation of new regional newspapers.

I can't found a regional newspaper anymore.
Are there any alternatives which keep newspapers and stuff while also not being buggy?

You can always make them gameside by clicking here and putting in some content. If you have Appearance authority in your region, and you reside in that region, you can even pin the newspaper.

But that isnt even close to the same thing. It would really be cool to see this feature get fixed. Ive also noticed the IRC settings still disrupt the region controls page.

I am aware that controlling the NS++ regional settings is not working properly and should be able to correct this, hopefully with a rewrite to use changes in regional controls (Regional Officers, the allowed recruitment nations setting), by the end of the month. (I am also aware of NS++'s failure to collect up to date endorsement or similar data at this time, and the same timeline applies to that matter.)

I'm sorry if that timeline is inconvenient, but I cannot commit to getting that done sooner.

The NS++ Settings aren't loading, whenever I try to access the settings it continues to load forever. I've also confirmed that this problem isn't isolated to just me, others in my region are also experienced this problem.

Will you be addressing the issue with creating newspapers or will that take longer?

Creating newspapers is the same problem.

Embassy-region flags have started appearing on the regions' page, but I still see discrepancies: regions without embassies show (non-scrolling) flags, regions with embassies show no flags.

I have unfortunately been unable to do the planned fixes yet. Please bear with me.

Expect to hear from me again soon.

Hello

Just wondered if there have been any updates on this? I'm unable to recruit for my region (which I founded), because NS++ says I am not authorised to recruit for my region, despite being the only person authorised..

Even if an embassy is closed, I can still see their regional flag on the embassy list in the East Pacific.
