Can't post on RMB without quoting, newspapers aren't showing up, has NS++ broken down?

Nope. What newspapers are you having problems with? I see them fine. Make sure you are on the latest version.

I could not post on the RMB period. The "leave message" tab disappeared.

You can still use the quote function, too, if for some reason you can't just update the extension.

So, cleared all caches and cookies from firefox, restarted firefox, checked to find add-ons...no updates found, NS Version installed 2.4.3.5 and still no joy with the rmb. >_> Apparently my karma is running low. Time for some good deeds.

Since the RMB was being awkward, I went ahead and used stylish.

Violet switched the "Switch to Forum View" text to "Forum View", which broke some pattern matching. I released a fix for it immediately, 24 hours ago now. Browsers are just slow to download updates.

When I leave RMB messages, it defaults to "Your message has been lodged" or something like that instead of just appearing, did you remove that feature?

I just lodged another message, it did it normally this time.

It depends. If your message contains special characters (like accented chars) then it will use the old style submission.

Good - that means it the extension was working. Due to the non-standard character encoding NationStates uses for the RMB, it is impossible to submit non-ASCII characters through javascript. So when UTF characters are encountered (usually characters with accents, emojis, etc) it reverts to the old submission method so your post is not corrupted.

Not sure whats going on I installed NS++ but it just doesn't activate when I am on NS in Firefox I have checked that it is enabled and everything, I have Chrome and NS++ works fine there so not sure why not in Firefox.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Just to ask the obvious, you have installed it in firefox right? It's a separate installation with each browser.

Can this be used in conjunction with another separate script? Or would that exceed the limits on recruitment?
