Just want to reiterate that I'm having some of the same problems as everyone else:

- IRC region settings covering stuff up
- Unable to access settings except with my main nation and one puppet
- Settings are not being applied to my puppets / I would like all my puppets to use the same settings

Using Windows 10 and Chrome

NS++ no longer shows Puppets (top menu tab) or Recruitment progress bar. Puppets tab will appear for a second and disappear a second later.
Reinstalled NS++, Relaunched Chrome—issue persists.

For some reason, the options were turned off in NS++ Settings. I just had to re-check them.

It does, but when I click it, it says: No regional newspaper exists for The Honorary Allied Nation States! Contact their delegate or founder to establish one.

That is strange. I opened up a puppet and I can't find the Newspaper settings in Admin. I'm pretty sure that's where they used to be.

Could be a bug.

That is true, but they should at least acknowledge the issues. I think thats what everyone is concerned about at the moment. There hasnt been one word from the NS++ dev in quite some time.

NS++ Doesn't work any-more for me, I can't see the Newspaper, the image link of the like and dislike buttons seem broken, perhaps it is my computer, I'm not sure, I would like to know if others experience the same issues with NS++ or not ?

I have the same problem. when i open newspaper ling it says my connection timed out and it even says that when i go to the homepage for NS++. Like buttons broken too.. seems not to want to connect to anything from NS++ for some weird reason/ Please help!!!

I have same issues as everyone listed. Seems all pictures are broken and hiding buttons.. Also would not let me make a nation. "name is being used already" Yet the nation name was available.

Yep.. Makes me sad though.. if NS++ breaks down completely we have to go back to manual checking puppets or find another extension to use.. It's been such a useful tool. Maybe some other players who are tech savvy can help Elu fix things?

No, I don't believe it's an issue with http vs https.

NSwiki is having difficulties logging nations in. This is because we use nationstatesplusplus.net to securely log nations in and cut down spam. The two sites we use for this:

and

https://nationstatesplusplus.net/api/nation/name/?name=

both return as error 502 bad gateway (you can insert a nation name in the last link like "testlandia", but still, the 502 Bad Gateway error comes up). I assume that's why newspapers, recruiting stuff, etc have all gone down the tubes so to speak. As for NSwiki, it's crucial that we get this service up and running as fast as possible. If not, and we need to change it, it must happen very soon so that I am able to edit the site in the given amount of time, so long as I'm still logged in.

This problem has occurred again, despite months of respite. This time, instead of the bad gateway, we simply get a "nation does not exist" when new nations try to login. In addition, the site is rather slow. I believe this is an issue with nationstatesplusplus.net, considering other ancillary NS tools have been on the fritz this week.

Same thing with the settings, they won't load at all. I just started playing the game and wanted some of the cool ++ features but can't really access many of them, sadly.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there's been no public sign for months that anyone is working on NS++ anymore. Officially, it was taken over by Eluvatar. Unofficially, the months of complaints have gone completely unaddressed. Try LibreNS. There's a thread for it somewhere in this forum.

Yep. With no sign of any support in months, I don't see this being fixed anytime soon. Here's a post about the issue.

I filed a GHR about this recently. Tl;dr -

Basic features have been broken for months. There have been massive visual errors (objects obscuring site features or breaking basic NS visual) for months. Features are still breaking, most recently puppet creation as a whole for a few days. Eluvatar has barely even acknowledged these issues - his last forum post in general was mid-March, his last pair of posts related to NS++ were almost six months ago, in early October, and his most recent post in the NS++ thread was a full year ago, in last april. The last commit on Git was in May 2016, and that was merging fixes someone else took the time to make. Elu's last commit besides that was October 2015. https://github.com/NationStates/NationS ... its/master

Ultimately, NS owns NS++ now, and as the OP says,

"Who is in charge here?"
"Ultimately, [violet]."

So, I requested that, in short, they either kick some fixes into gear or find someone who can. I also offered to compile yet another up to date, replicated, and documented list of bugs...if I can get some confirmation that they'd actually be worked on, and not forgotten.

All we can tell you is that [violet] and Elu are aware of your request. We have no timelines for a solution.
