Nation voting parties

Postby Kingofwolves » Wed Jun 10, 2009 8:05 am

Each nation has voting parties which you can name. the minimum requirement of the groups should be 10. it would be a bit like european elections. this idea would work when every year simulated on the game (should be a week). this can make it fun and it can also add to more dilemas for the game.

How would elections work when in the end you always run the nation, so issues will be handled the same no matter who wins... which seems to make simulating elections dificult...

Also some nations have outlawed voting based on issues.

An awkward aspect. If the party system involves ALL of the nations in the region, then some players would undoubtedly be tempted to stuff the ballot box by creating umpteen puppets. Then otoh, there are quite a few players that do not want to bother with joining the WA. How do you balance the two extremes?

I think the OP was suggesting an additional field for national customization, rather than a system of regional elections. :)

In which case it sounds like solo roleplaying. Which is pretty much up to the individual player as to whether or not he wants to get that involved. (Which I suspect would be about 80-90% wouldn't want to be _that_ involved in their internal game play.)
