Labelling GA Campaign TGs

Postby Bears Armed Mission » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:17 am

If I'm sending campaign TGs manually, rather than using stamps or a script, how do I label them as 'GA Campaigning' TGs? I can't see how to do so...
Or is labelling like that required only when using stamps/scripts?

Hit the down arrow next to the sender name. Check the checkbox and select Campaign from the droplist.

Even if you're manually recruiting, it still might be easier to use a Template. That way you only have to check the checkbox once, plus you save space in your Sent items and have a useful Reporting feature.

The "sender name"? Where's that? I can see a box for the name of the nation that the TG's being sent to, but if that's what you mean then the only options that the down arrow next to it gives me is

Add: Nation • Region • Special [?]

This is a recruitment campaign telegram[?]

Thank you for the advice, but I'm only planning to send a few TGs this time around, and prefer to personalise them more than I think a template would allow.

There's a box that has the name of the person you are sending it to (not really the 'sender', but I think Fris was just a bit confused). It has an arrow next to it that is pointed downwards, click that, and select campaign from the drop-down.

The "recruitment" part of "this is a recruitment telegram" is a dropbox. When you check the box to the left you can change it from recruitment to campaign.

Okay. Got it now. I was clicking the checkbox nest to 'Special' before...

... and that still seems more obvious, at least to me, than clicking the box next to the words "This is a recruitment telegram" when what I'm sending isn't a recruiting telegram.

It's a little counterintuitive. I only know it since I have sent a bunch of recruitment telegrams manually and was curious about that box :p

Just discovered: send enough campaign TGs, when you haven't sent any recruiting ones, and it moves 'Campaign' to replace 'Recruiting' at the top of that list anyway.

EDIT: As long as you leave the page open, anyway; Unfortunately, it seems to revert to 'recruitment' when you close & re-open the page...
