It doesn't work. Like, the entire extension. It used to just a few hours ago but now it's the equivalent of if I uninstalled it- which I didn't, because Google store says it's already added to chrome. Is this a problem for anyone else?

I had to give it permissions again this morning. That might be the problem for you.

It needs new permissions. Click the menu bar to the right of the omnibar and you will see a notification.

Due to increase permissions (access to nationstatesplusplus.net/org/com) Chrome will auto-disable the extension after updating. You need to head to chrome://extensions/ and simply "re-enable" it at the checkbox. Firefox and Safari users can ignore this, the extension will update fine.

Just to clarify, the "auto-unsuppress" feature does not actually automatically unsuppress posts in the case of a Delegate or Founder, but rather simply expands them for viewing?

Also, how does one find the ID of their regional newspaper?

Correct. It isn't actually clicking the buttons at all, it is simply showing the hidden text. Founders & Delegates have nothing to fear.

This isn't ideal (and I will improve this), but for right now, go to your newspaper, click on the title (Versutian Federation News) and the url for the page will show a lookup id. That is the id. For your region, 113.

They start from the assumption of the worst case scenario. For developers, unless Google has changed something, it's all or nothing when it comes to permissions. If you need to access a certain type of data from forum.nationstates.net, you have to request permission to access all types of data. There's no granularity. So chances are, nothing about it will compromise your security.

It has permission to view and modify content on nationstatesplusplus.org, nationstatesplusplus.net, nationstatesplusplus.com now. That is all that has changed. I happen to own all those web domains, so there is no new risk. Just google's rather strict permissions.

It's rather annoying and I wish Google would fix it. Firefox and the other browsers have no such issues.

I have my NS++ Settings set so suppressed posts aren't automatically shown.

I've reset my browser, my computer, and uninstalled, and reinstalled the application. For some reason it still thinks I have it set so suppressed posts are automatically shown.
