I have to ask, when you go into the "view your posts" thing, there's a button that says "show your posts". What does that do?

If you've ignored any posts, it reveals them again.

It's the post number. A couple users were asking for it here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=244503

It's also a permanent link to each post.

I can't tell the difference. >_>

Granted, I only ignored three threads (F7 related), but I don't see them when I click the button.

They should re-appear. If they are not, give me the name and version of the browser you are currently using and a screenshot or two.

It works. To be fair, it was only three threads, so that makes sense.

It's a cool feature though. :D

Good work. I would only use it on chrome. I personally think it isn't that good with Firefox. Partially because you just ported it over.

I think in the settings page for the addon you can choose to enable or disable infinite scroll.

To keep infinite scroll with the current setup would require going to a while different page for the RMB, where it puts you at the bottom of the RMB and loads in posts while when you move up loading the new ones. It's on a new page so it won't mess up the regional page. Issue is it requires making a whole new page. That, or a popup that moves the RMB to a different window.

If it popped out like an annoying ad for porn but you actually want it, then you wouldn't have to worry about going back up to select the menu because its not actually in the browser so you can have both up.

I only know JavaScript and basic HTML so I don't know if it's possible with MySQL. I'm a self taught Javascripter so I only know coding and randomizers from taking java programs, studying th, and guessing what parts do by writing new ones. I never bothered to learn MySQL like I planned to.

It's actually the same exact code for both addons. The only difference is that each has to be packaged differently. Make sure you are on the latest Firefox version too - Firefox latest is at 1.6.2. There is a button to force addon updates in the addon manager.

What kind of annoyances are you noticing with Firefox? I can look into them.

Right, I'm going to be making everything configurable.

Eh, that sounds a lot worse than how it works right now.

I installed it when it came out, but now it's asking for new permission to access my data on NationStates.net. What data does it need? Why?

See here:
Afforess wrote:Alright, update 1.6 is out. Chrome users will have to re-enable the addon when it updates, because it now requires permissions to see forum.nationstates.net.

The reason is for some new features which affect the forums, and not just the regional message board.

Updated the OP to be a lot more informative. I've also opened a uservoice page for you guys to suggest/up-vote new feature ideas.

Version v1.61:
  • RMB Forum View now supported, has infinite scroll, quote, and live updating features as well.

You should automagically be updated. You do not need to do anything.

So I downloaded this and made sure it was enabled (this is on FireFox by the way), and absolutely nothing has changed on my RMB.

Refresh your pages. Try restarting Firefox.

Is restarting Firefox just closing it and opening it again?

Maybe you're having that issue where some addons aren't starting on starting Firefox. Disable then re-enable it then try it.

Not even scrolling down to see the RMB?
