Super LARGE Nation Flags?

I see once in a while nations that have LARGE flags, and i'm like "HOW THEY DO THAT!?"

How did people get passed the 10mb size or whatever it is? Thanks.

They don't pass the 10kb limit; they just custom-made their flag, and made it larger (in pixels) than the usual 107 x 71 size. It's easy, unless you use too many colors, and if it's too large. My flag is larger than the default flags, but can still fit under the 10kb limit.

Simply I used Photoshop to turn my flag into PNG-8 format, since my flag uses only two colors it can use this format to preserve quality and keep a very low file size, this flag is about 4 kilobytes, way under the maximum 10 kb.

Quite. Also not using anti-aliased lines, gradients, and other well known methods of keeping file size down will allow you to meet the limit.

I'll issue a warning here. Extremely large flags that stretch the page size tend to actually get removed. So slightly enlarging your flag, okay. Making it larger than normal page width, not okay.

Flag things should really be reported through the Getting Help Page. As a Forum Mod, I can't change people's flags. I also think that one is just a tad smaller than the one that did get changed.
