Is there a way to upload graphics onto the forum directly, or must they be hosted at a third party domain and linked to?

Actually no, it doesn’t. The graphic was designed to communicate a point within these forums and the NationStates game, based on the appearance default flag which the game uses. If you see connotations in my message with the graphic, then they are only in your own reflection. If you don’t like the Australian Aboriginal flag in this context, take it up with Max.

That's silly. The Australian Aboriginal flag is our default at least partly because it's a good cause. (Also it's a great flag. Also it's funny when you take down a Nazi flag and replace it with this one.) The image is used to express support for the rights of indigenous Australians all over the place. It flies over Parliament House. Protesters wave it in marches. It's a real stretch to turn promoting it into "appropriation."
Nah, you got me wrong. It's not the use of it as default I object to; I know it flies everywhere, for good reason, and I like it as default for the same reason.
What I was on about was having it faded out, with "Ex-nation" on it. That's un-funny because there was a time when, thanks to official policy, Aborigines almost were "ex".
[violet] wrote:Ahhh, I see what you mean. Ex-nation, as in extinguished culture. That's a fair point.
