And if yes, can I send a telegram to said blocked person.

You were able to block TGs from people before. If it's like it was before, I don't think you can send someone a TG while you have them banned... but it's been a while since I tried that.

Nope. You can still telegram them. I just tested it with a puppet.

Just to make absolutely sure;

Image

If a recruitment or other telegram is "blocked by category", does that telegram still cost a stamp to send? If it does, that would be rather annoying- I wouldn't want to be paying for a system to automatically waste stamps for me.

Will there be a system to delete old sent telegrams?

Recruit: encourage nations to move regions or join an alliance

So we're supposed to use this interface to recruit for non-regional entities? But the interface assumes that I'm recruiting for the region I'm in. :/

....

Alright, let's hold that thought for a second. The UDL isn't a region. You don't need to leave 10ki to join the UDL. You can still be a member of 10ki (you can't take on a government position in 10ki.. but that's because of said region's rules, not mine). Joining us doesn't imply you need to move your nation anywhere. Moreover, joining us doesn't even mean that you're going to play the R/D game -- we've got people working as diplomats who haven't ever touched foot on the R/D Battlefield.

MOREOVER, you would looooove to see the UDL stick to GCR recruitment like "everyone else" where we're at a distinct disadvantage. Namely, you have gigantic links that say "JOIN MY REGION" and buttons and marvelous other stuff to make lives really easy for people joining your region. Of course you wouldn't want to make it easier for the UDL to get its invitational messages out there; especially when you're too busy laughing about the idea of someone bothering to copy and paste our forum link, when all of the other telegrams have fancy links for recruits.

Then form a traditional region if it's so terrible to get people to join your organization. It's still recruiting.

On Antiquity, when I received a new telegram, and I clicked on the "Telegram" tab and read the telegram, it does not disappear as "New." It continues to say "New" even though I exit the tab after reading it and replying to it.

Yep, and we'll need to fix that.

As I see it, we have two options:
  • Let recruiters disable that "Move to @@REGION@@" button when they're recruiting for an organization but don't want the recipient to change regions; or
  • Create a new category for non-region based recruitment, which doesn't include the button, and which people can choose to block or not.

The first option is simpler, since players can check one box to block all forms of recruitment. The second option is more flexible, which would suit people who are open to region-based recruitment but not something like the UDL, or vice versa.

Right now I'm thinking the first one makes more sense, but this is something we'll observe and refine as we go, with input from the people affected.
