The fact that the search function (for posts) does not allow you to search for 'common words' is unhelpful. I'm sure there are many titles of posts which only contain these words, so they cannot appear in a search. I think this function should be turned off if 'titles of threads' are only selected. It can't be that difficult to do, can it, and would be very helpful, as it is not always that easy to find threads by looking at the descriptions of forums. It would also be good if you could type in exact phrases, but I'm not sure if that would be feasible.

I got a similar question. Is it possible for me to search my name to see if anyone replied to my posts, like I did in the other forum?

Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

Click the 'view your posts' button at the top and you will get a list of all the things you have replied to. Quick and easy (unlike Jolt).

Well it's sorted by date, so look at any threads that you haven't looked at recently. There's never been a way to know if a poster was responding to your point or to another's in a thread, but you can at least check if there are new posts in the thread.
