Nationstates 2

Postby Wawawawi » Thu Oct 22, 2009 4:04 pm

I was just wondering if there is any intention to recreate NationStates 2 or something similar to it, because frankly, it was much much more fun and I really enjoyed how in depth the economy system was.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with nationstates2.com in the future?

<+MaxBarry> So that was a shame, and I'm not sure where NS2 (or NS3!) goes from here
<+MaxBarry> I probably won't even think about that for a while

Thats about all anyone knows really. (BTW - I think you'll have a few people challenging your view that NS2 was better than NS1 :P )

To be honest I quite enjoyed NS2. My world, world 64, was very active and there was an actual community.

I had a nation in World 64 (as well as 3, 32, 117, and 119, I believe, though I never was as active there), it was active to the very end, but I never spent as much time on NS2 as I did on NS1. I didn't much enjoy all the errors that plagued NS2 ("NULL" "There was an error processing this template element") and they never seemed to want to fix them.

If better means having hundreds more bugs than NS1, then yes, I agree fully.

NS2 COULD have been great. But Jolt's ineptitude and apathy killed it.

I think I had a nation there he tricked some guy to come there and follow some religion so he would stop being racist back in world 2, people hated me for it, thought I agreed with him.the Inactivity problem made me leave, NS2 was an epic fail.

Edit: wait I meant world 85, I looked it up on the forums,I caused a war oops.

I don't see why we can't have it both ways, and blame Jolt/OMAC's ineptitude, apathy, despicable greed and inhospitality for why NS2 failed to live up to its potential ;)
