When I'm on Nationstates I occasionally get redirected to survey scam websites, and other phishing type scams. Here is one of the website urls I just got redirected to when I was logged in as one of my puppets.
This is very concerning because this special url contains my computers IP address in plain text, and references to my internet service provider. The site also uses a script to make it difficult to leave the page.

I would like to report that I got redirected to a pop-up ad website while in the Admin page for a region. It was one of those where the people pretend to be from Microsoft and tell you that you've won a prize, and to press the button to receive it.
I did not press the button, but I thought I should inform you of this potentially malicious ad.

There may have been a thread on this a while back, not sure.
I just encountered an ad that led me to a page to "win" free gift cards, and the like. If I recall correctly, those we no bueno. In addition, this one created a new tab, etc, standard virus ad. I have a screenshot attached.

Here is a warning of what I've been expiernecing, these people corrected me in saying that this is a malicious pop up ad but it is worth mentioning to protect the gullible from having to pay $80(I didn't but this particular pop up has led to this in other cases).
I was told to put it here because its more appropriate here. The issue is the discovery of a malicious pop up ad for a crappy VPN that I doubt is because my phone has a problem itself, but because I only see it when I go to this website. In other words I don't know what can be done about it and I hope I'm not a fool for posting.

While on the RMB for 10,000 Islands on mobile,I was redirected to a “your iPhone has been compromised” scam. This usually happens to iPhones when malicious ads on a website redirect you to a scam. This means that some ad on the website redirected me to a scam and that is a concern. Could someone please check it out?

Any website can see your IP and location. Unless you use a VPN it’s public data. It’s pretty easy to get. Your service provider would be common knowledge as well if they had your IP.

I got three of the same "You've been specially selected" ads when I was on the RMB of The Bar on the Corner of Every Region. They haven't popped up forumside. I know there's a thread somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Please merge if needed.

Going by previous posts, I'm not the only one getting random redirects to survey/scam sites recently. I keep getting redirected to some "happy.Luckyparkclub" website occasionally when clicking on threads, with the page always being a YouTube/Google/Facebook related survey or gift card.
I actually got redirected several times in a row, just trying to access this board to post.
This has only become an issue for me in the last day or two? I'm only getting these redirects on a tablet, and not desktop.
EDIT: Looking at one of the screencaps a few posts back, it looks like what I'm dealing with, albeit a different URL. Same scams/ads, different domains?
