They'd have to use pretty small print to put the whole One Stop Rules Shop in the banner. Rather than waiting for them to do that, you'd probably be better off just visiting the thread and reading it yourself.

Killed a bunch more.

The reason they keep popping up again is that the advertiser keeps making new versions under different names.

Really? I don't remember denying that.

This whole thing is getting so annoying. Is there anyone you could contact to block the user from submiting the ad?

We can block the user, but they keep creating new users. It's just an annoying gap between the type of ads we're willing to host and the type of ads that Google will permit. Usually those two things are in sync.

Is there no way to complain to google about this?

You can complain about any ad by clicking the little "Google" or (i) button in the corner of the ad, which should link you to a feedback form. If you do this, PLEASE make sure you complain about the AD and not the SITE (i.e. us).

The "Roman orgy" ad is already well-known across the internet, though, and has long been a frequent source of complaints. I'm really not sure why they tolerate it, since it seems significantly more crass than anything else they allow.

Excellent! Men, to arms!

Now that I know. God, I hate the Lady-Not-Appearing-In-This-Game trope.

I just spotted it on the issues page of one of my puppets.

EDIT: And on this one too, and I was doing so good at not encountering it.

I like how they changed One click for a roman ORGY to One click for a roman EMPIRE. Same scantly clad women and everything.

Eh, the one I saw still said "orgy."

I see that ad a lot, but it almost always says empire. I think violet got it.

I love how it does it.

The owners of that game are quite clever to constantly change the coding, the name, etcetera to make it come through. I find it quite unbelievable. Then again, all Internet advertisements annoy me in general.

Pornographic ad

It is called Death Grips the Money Store and it has a lady leading a naked lady (who is wearing some kind of demon mask) on a leash. I don't know what it's about.

Also there is an ad for something called "Call of Roma" that has an elf(?) with giant boobs. There's this text that says something about playing with pals that flies into the ad. When it hits the boobs shake.

This is, more or less, the technical thread for reporting Inappropriate Ads. I 'd suggest taking screen caps when you see these ads so [violet] (Site Admin) can check 'em out and blast 'em.

There's these ads for a site called "playpickle.com" which downloads malware/adware and stuff and also infringes on copyrights by showing plagiarized images of games that they pretend to offer.

I dunno if that's against site policy, but it seems...well, shady.

Seems to be fixed now. All I get is WoW advertisements and some election for an old guy.

I scanned through all of the forum topics (factbooks etc) and all of them show none of that roman crap.

I think [violet] has said that adverts for dating sites are generally okay.

I get that one all the time, plus the Japanese one, the African one and the Chinese one.

However, [violet] has already ruled on these kinds of site:

I get a lot of advertisements popping up for all sorts of dating sites on here, such as the Cougar one and UniformDating, to name 2 of about 6. Would these be classed as inappropriate as well?

No, we don't mind helping people to find love, so long as it's done non-obnoxiously.

Just saw Sedge's post, just backing it up with her quote. ;)

Just use AdBlock or something like that to hide the ads you dislike (if you know the URL pattern of those specific ads; if not, too bad)
