[IDEA] Helpful for RMB

Postby Solm » Thu Oct 01, 2009 4:22 pm

I think this will be very helpful thing that you guys could do. I always misspell words and when Im on the forum i just click edit.... I misspell words on my RMB too, so it would be very helpful if you could add a edit button to our RMB posts.....

Thanks!

Take a brief moment and hit the "Preview" button and check over your spelling.

So, every region would have its own forum? That would be awesome. If it was also possible to somehow integrate the already existing offsite forums that regions have into it, it would be even better

I think that would be impossbile as all the offsite forums are held on different hosts, different formats, and some want their own domains and have them already.

I dont want a whole forum, just an edit problem,

and @ Erastide, sometimes when im in a rush, i dont have the time, then when im on later, i look at it and it has a spelling error, if there was an edit button, that would be perfect.

Many forums, including my region's, include an edit feature on already posted material. It requires a great deal of trust because it allows folks to rewrite history, which can render subsequent posts irrelevant and make others look foolish.
:palm:

I try to follow the e-mail rule: read it when you write it and re-read it before you post it. Hit Preview before ya hit Post. Then if it ain't perfect, live with your imperfection. In my rarely humble opinion, I say let the RMBs be what they are - spontaneous, messy, and imperfect. I don't think it's all bad to require us to think twice before we post nonsense.
