I am currently trying to help Max Barry by trying to contact Jolt too see if they still have the source or base codes for NationStates 2.

Anyone got any contact details for Jolt.

Site/game team: ask Max about it.
The E-mail address I contacted him with is the only one I have myself, and is the one I have registered with NationStates. Any help appriciated.

How is this going to help Max?

Given that he knows all the principals at OMAC, and that all contracts presumably specified code ownership and the like, one would think that he could get the code if he had a legal right to it. One would also think that there are no obvious circumstances where they would give you the code but somehow prevent Max from getting it.

No, actually, Max does not own the Nationstates 2 code. The deal was they would pay him a share of the profit made by the game, and that they would develop and code the game according to his specifications.

They neither paid him nor made the game according to his wishes.

Hmm, and I'm sure if Max tried to sue for a breach of contract he'd run into legal issues up the demon-hole since OMAC is in another country and what-not. They were probably even counting on that annoyance to act in their favor. Isn't international law fun?

From the looks of things, it seems that Fris and Reppy can get into enough trouble on their own
NS2 wasn't that good anyhow, and there's no way I'm paying money to play any online game, so y'all can do whatever you want (as long as it doesn't harm others ), but I am staying out of it.
