I just spent an hour writing up a detailed well thought out RP post. By the time I had finished I had been logged out NS and when I hit the submit button I had to log in. When I attempted to log in via the forum it said I need to log in with my nation first, and losing my post.

Now what I am asking if what can be done to these forums is that should it log us out we are able to log into the forums on the login page it presents us and then submitting the post anyway. While I was logged out at Jolt it was possible to do this.

I am wondering if this will also become possible on the NS forums.

Can I be harsh and recommend Ctrl+A followed shortly by Ctrl+C (or Command, if you're on a Mac) before posting important things?

This is a lesson learned the hard way that you should always copy and/or save anything before posting it.

See the thing is lads that yes I wasn't aware it would happen on here.

In fact Valanora and Star, it did happen to me on the Jolt forums when I was a bit more active in the WC, however, if you got your password right and your username right it would go straight through and submit it.

I am wondering if this will become the same way here on the NS forums.

In Firefox I can hit back button and still get everything I typed. Then I copy it on Notepad and log back on.

Yeah any browser that preserves backdata like Firefox and Chrome (later versions of IE might as well) will permit you to go back to the previous page and still have everything you typed.

Yep, this is going to happen. Still a few quirks in the code to iron out first though.
