Anti-business?

Postby Bennslovakia » Thu Sep 03, 2009 7:18 am

Hey there. I just signed up today and while it's nothing big, I'm fairly sure I chose pro-business and pro-Capitalism ideals for my country, but it came out politically anti-business and without private enterprise. Not really sure how that happened.

EDIT: In fact, I'm pretty sure I didn't choose "Liberal Democratic Socialists" as well, and it says my government is "enormous" but I chose fairly Libertarian/Conservative views. Are you sure the forms are working correctly or could I have a problem on my end? It feels like I may have somehow auto-answered the default values.

The answers to the questions when you create an nation do create surprising results, but the initial statistics of your nation does not mean that it will be like that if you answer issues that promote businesses and the economy later on. Issues affect younger nations strongly than those that have higher populations so therefore you can turn a communist nation into a capitalist one through issues. You could set the issues frequency to two-a-day and make the process faster, perhaps?

Ahh, I wasn't sure if the issues had an effect on the description on my home page or my standings. That's interesting. My girlfriend directed me here (we're both interested in politics) and it looks like quite a neat game. I will toggle my issues to two-a-day and thanks for the kind response.
