How is the featured region selected? If it's random, then a whole series of coincidences have happened. If not, then how is it selected?

Randomly, among regions with at least five members and no password (and are not class regions).

What are class regions?
You know you've made it on NSG when you have a whole thread created around what you said.

School classes can register a region on nationstates (somehow). And this usually means the people in that class all move to that region and telegraming those nations and entering the region is usually prohibited so they can conduct their class in peace.

I personally would love to have a NS class... :P

And the "only one WA nation per computer" rule isn't applied, but the class's teacher is responsible for ensuring that there's only one WA nation per player involved.

Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.
