Nation name change?

Hello, I was just wondering if it would be possible for a moderator to change the name of my nation. I know for a fact that the nation name is available and that I could just as easily start a new one with that name, but I'd like to be able to keep my statistics and forum posts. Is it possible that a mod could change my nation name or would that be too much to ask?

There have been 2 documented cases of name changing.
And those were extreme circumstances, and yours are not, sadly.

Your name is basically like your identifier for the NS system. Changing it messes up everything.

The mods do not have the ability to change a nations name, that requires an act of admin. And as Shanix pointed out, it's happened twice so you're just going to have to start a new nation.

If you have a highly developed nation and have spent a good while working on it, don't bother name changing

One of them was like "Asshole something" backwards, and I'm pretty sure [violet] was like "Screw that! Name change!" instead of simple DEAT.

I would have changed my nation name in the past if possible, but I spent too much time and effort working on it, so I continued working on it and didn't let the name bother me anymore

More specifically, the name wasn't illegal when the nation was first founded, but then after a new ToS was put into place it became illegal. Since the player had a large nation with a history of good behavior, the admin felt it was unfair to DEAT him, and allowed for a name change.
