I can't change my settings!

Postby Polynesia » Sun Oct 09, 2011 3:48 am

Hi, whenever I try to change anything on the settings page for any of my 4 nations, Kulverint, New Gaelicia, Marohirohi & Polynesia, it tells me "This request failed a security check. Please try again."

I know neither of these to be true, as I could not be on my settings page if I wasn't logged in, and I know no-one else knows my password for any of my nations.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache first? This error is possible if your browser is looking at an old (cached) copy of the page instead of the current one.

I've tried that, too, and it still doesn't work!

If there's anyone else who downloaded the dark theme before it was official, that might be the source of the issue. It only started when I got this.

This is going to be a shot in the dark: Are you using the beta version of Chrome with the Stylish addon/extension?

I'm using chrome, but not beta, and I believe I am using the Stylish add-on. There was an error with that, though, so I can't get rid of the add-on.

That's unfortunate. Can you at least disable the add-on for the time being? The problem that I ran into recently while helping someone else with this exact same issue was that Stylish was incompatible with Chrome beta, so it's possible that the regular version updated recently and the add-on broke.

I'll try again, but there is nothing for me to delete. I try to get the stylish thing to come up and it doesn't register that I've used Stylish on the website.
