I tweaked the BBcode a bit in order to get some of these signatures right. I know that some people are going to wonder why I'm doing this, but the reason is that some colors might work perfectly in the default theme but might be too dark in the dark theme and vice versa.

Sedgistan, your sig will probably look like this once the theme is updated: http://i.imgur.com/CdKQP.png

I'm also very much aware that people have created hidden text on the default theme (basically, they've matched the color with the background so it's practically invisible) and have fixed that issue. Any text that is the color of the posts on the forum (it does alternate between the colors #F5F7F4 and #FDFFFC) and white will be automatically changed over to the color of the dark theme background, thus keeping the hidden text actually hidden.

I have computer knowlage. I have used noting but IE all my life and I love it and am used to. I could try to find a website that allows you to legally download firefox or some other server for free, but what's the point? I'd have to search for one, download and learn how to use it and put it on every of the many computers in my house, some of which don't allow you to download programs, and for what? To block a couple of ads that just sit at the bottom and don't bother anyone but are much needed for the funding to keep the site operating. It's not worth it. Unless you deliberatly look for them, you can't see the ads anyway!

I ran Chrome 15.0.874.54 beta-m with AdBlock and FlashBlock (with their default settings) in Windows XP and there was nothing over there but the usual blackness. How exactly was AdBlock and FlashBlock set up?

The Dark theme makes it difficult to read text at times, such as on sigs or the page numbers on threads. Personally, it's a great theme, so I suggest something be done about that.

Or quotes. When I use quotes, they turn out black on a black background. Is there any way to fix this? Not to mention, the font color (although cool) it's a tad hard on the eye.

Signatures are somewhat out of my control unless I start sticking in code for just about every possible color combination out there. I've tried it once but I don't expect that to become the norm as there are many many many color combinations. As for the page numbers on threads, are you referring to: http://i.imgur.com/04OFZ.png If so, that's something else I can lighten the colors on.

I'm still having the same problem. Could it be browser related? I am using Mozilla Firefox.

I'm using the Classic theme for the time being.

I'm still having the same problem. Could it be browser related? I am using Mozilla Firefox.

I'm using the Classic theme for the time being.

I'd suggest a screencap to make things a bit easier.
Just know when it's real and when it isn't.

I'd highly recommend taking a screenshot and listing what add-ons you're running too so that I could possibly replicate the problem. It always seems in these cases that some addons are incredibly touchy and tend to break stuff.

Personally, I'm running Firefox 7.0.1 on Windows 7 and I've also tried the most recent forms of Chrome, Opera, Safari, and IE9; I'm not getting the problem there.

Eh, I'd like to at least see what the problem is, if at all possible. It might help in case other people are having/might have the same problem. A screenshot and a list of addons would be quite useful.

Well, thanks. Highlighting text works relatively well for some stuff.

The theme will be updated within the next day or so, so be patient, but here are the changes to look out for. They're all forum related.

10/07/11
- Fixed problem with using the "pre code" BBcode where the background and text would both be white
- Allowed hidden text used in the original theme to still remain hidden in the dark theme (Colors: white, #F5F7F4, #FDFFFC, and #FFFFFF )
- Lightened "Yes" and "No" labels in the control panel
- Lightened general information on the forums such as the current time and date, number of posts in a thread, copyright, number of users on the forum, etc.
- Text that has been specifically colored black by the user will now appear white

I'm aware that the issues page has changed for the game, adding the "newspaper" picture to each one of the issues, and that it looks terrible with the dark theme. So I'm going to ask, should it be kept, should I delete it entirely in the next update to the theme, or are there any other alternatives?

Ideally I'd prefer that it somehow be made to look better with the dark theme, but I'd rather it be left as is than removed entirely. I think it's cool, even though it's so light-colored.
