I just saw the message "This name has been retired." What exactly does that mean? I assume it means it's reserved and can't be refounded?

I have an odd question. A few months ago I tried to revive what I thought was my nation. After a few unsuccessful tries, I filed a GHR to see if I could at least confirm that it was once mine. A mod graciously revived it so I could try passwords. Needless to say, I'm pretty positive it wasn't mine.

Unfortunately, my request has now bumped up the recent activity to a few months ago and the population about 100 million over the limit. If I hadn't have meddled, the nation would have been released in this batch.

Seeing as how it only reached 250+/active in the last 5 years because of someone other than its owner, is there anyway it could be released now?

I figure it's a longshot but worth asking.

Mayflower, Mediterranean, Oland, Providence, Scandia, Nordica, Noreg, Tallinn

If you take one of these, it would be nice if you sent me a TG.

Not sure what the point of that was. It just looks like one guy grabbed 5 of those. Whereas if you didn't announce them, those names might have gone to someone who actually wanted them.

and could care less about letting others have a whack at the game.

Don't post names that are available, because you're also forgetting new comers that may want them as well.

Because of my work I have four CPU's and Two Laptops. Sadly I'm not joking when I say my office looks like the Batcave. That's not my home office, but take out the two lower monitors that aren't attached and it looks kind of like that.

I have Mediterranean and Oland. Run a TG by me, I will be glad to trade them or give them to someone with the promise of their use. They are ready by being ideologically neutral, perfect for shaping it by issues for the active user.
