[violet]'s account is one of the few, if not the only, forum-only accounts. There is no nation attached to her forum account. That "Violet" nation was probably deleted to keep anyone from impersonating her.

"Deleted" in the boneyard does not necessarily mean "mod-deleted"; if a nation was deleted by a moderator, the response would be "Disgraced: This name was soiled by a former nation." This "deleted" wording was changed to "former" a while ago to clear up confusion like this; the post you're quoting is from 2011.

Maybe you could free up some DEATed nations, but start with those that were deleted for being Adbots as not being reserved? Adbots just hog up names.

There is a nation that I've wanted to claim but has ceased roughly, 12 years and 32 days ago (24/03/2008) and has a population of 2.715 billion. With the name of "Perpetual Peace" (Link: https://www.nationstates.net/page=boney ... al%20peace). But I am unsure, whether to what Antiquity refers to since there shows no clear founding date at all. If possible, could this player have purchased the Supporter Badge where it permanently reserves that nation name?

The "supporter" badge was not introduced until the tail end of 2012, so there's no possibility of that; besides, if that were the case it would say "Reserved: This name was used by a site supporter."

As for what "Antiquity" means, back in the early days the game itself did not record founding dates. If you joined before they started recording founding dates in late November 2003, you got the date of "Antiquity" instead. Pretty groovy, huh?

Also, "Perpetual-Peace" with a dash is available. Maybe you could use that instead?

Although using the dashed line is available, I am still curious on what our wonderful Moderators would offer, relating to the case shown above us with the name of Perpetual Peace, that ceased to exist roughly 12 years ago. If not, then I am more than happy using the Perpetual Peace name with a dashed line as a replacement.

Sorted on this occasion. However, CTEd nations don't get updated if an issue of their makes it into the game, and it's not something we're going to routinely check for/fix.
