Suggestion: Add URL tag to the RMB?

Well, it's been 2 years since that thread was posted in, so it's probably about time you brought the subject back up.

I would think so as well.

So then the Mods would have to police all of the RMBs, as well, for links of "forbidden" types? Somehow I don't see this idea as likely to get approved...

The only difference in adding the url tag is that it makes adding a long link possible, as sometimes, those long links are not possible ("This word is too long" or something like that).
There would be no real change to the policies of moderating the RMB. If there's a spam link, it's a simple matter of filling out a GHR, or having the WA Delegate and/or Founder suppress the post.
