Notifications suggestion [split]

I have a suggestion. I looked through the top posts and I did not see it.

So, you know how when there is a new WA issue or you receive a telegram you get a notification next to that category on the left hand nav menu in the form of (1), (2), or whatever the case may be? Why can I not have that when someone posts a new message to my regional message board? I'd love to know when someone makes a new post, also that would make the RMB more active as well. Kind of like a little quick chat for the members of said region.

Was that a good enough explanation?

NO, it's just too spammy for me, i don't care when someone posts adspam on the rmb. This would be ok if there was a way to turn it ff.

I see what you mean, but couldnt you just mark it as spam and warn the poster not to do it anymore? It shouldnt be that big of a deal if you have a region of nations that actually communicate with each other though it makes things much much easier.

Perhaps with an added On/Off function?
