There's actually an outstanding bug with that where it doesn't propagate to the forums under some circumstances. But other times it does.

I think the CG post in the example might Just have been a day that CG ran out of Coffee. Or Wine........

Oh I see. Well thank you very much for clearing that up for me [violet].

I'm just curious, but would it be possible to add suppress to the recent happenings?
# 1 day, 8 hours ago: The United People's Democracy of Umbra Ac Silentium ejected and banned The Holy Empire of The Child Porn from the region.
# 1 day, 8 hours ago: The Holy Empire of The Child Porn arrived from The West Pacific.

I really don't want that staying there... >-<

Heeheeheeheehee! New powers of suppression! Oh, I can't wait until Krull wakes up and sees this. *runs off to find other delegates*

*skids to a halt and runs back*

Thank you, [violet]!

That kind of thing should be reported, and the mods will take care of it. Which has been done.

Suppression won't extend to Regional Happenings, no.

To the people who thought of this idea and made it happen:

I love you. Seriously, this has been one of the best ideas I have seen in my two stints as Delegate of The North Pacific. I have just cleaned TNP of all non-authorized recruitment messages (that is, recruitment messages that don't include the poetic style listed in TNP's WFE), and I frankly am impressed. So, cheers!

I would post the log of what happened when I logged onto irc earlier, but it's too undignified for me to post here.

Needless to say, I liked it.

I was having a couple of issues while using my phone, suppressing people. It suppressed them fine and when I unsuppressed the post, it still showed the post, but the 'this post by [a] has been supressed by [b]' was still up, along with the unsuppress button. I haven't had time to experiment further.

This is with the default Nokia Browser.

Hmmm. I must be unique in not being totally impressed with this new "suppress" feature. Seems to me that the way to stop recruiters on Feeder RMBs is for natives to be active - if the ads stay in view long enough to be effective, they only have themselves to blame.

This is also a perfect tool for rogue delegates, and will remove one of the most fun and inventive areas of NS life in the feeders - the RMB wars / debates / propaganda.

Thank you [violet], but dont you think there could now be a problem with feeder WAD's killing off recruitment messages

But Flem - you can still see the 'suppressed' posts if you click on that little plus sign in the corner. It's perfect. As I was saying earlier on IRC, not only can we still have RMB wars (which will always remain on record, no less!) against a rogue delegate, but the sense of INJUSTICE AND OUTRAGE against the suppressor will increase with every click you have to make to open a post to view it. :D
